Math

Math is hands on and problem solving based in our classroom. Students will use manipulatives as needed, participate in weekly math centers, and guided math. Math is taught very different than we learned even ten years ago. Students are expected to not only understand concepts, but also explain their answers. We use partners, small groups, and whole group instructions to share our ideas.
