Reading
In first grade, a student will make a tremendous amount of progress! Reading is the #1 priority in our classroom. It is important that you help your child make reading a priority. Below you will find links of some of the reading tools that we use in our classroom. Feel free to print any of them out so that you can use them with your child at home. The students participate in daily literacy centers while I read with students in small guided math centers. These centers are based on literature, writing, word wall, and word work.
